Rev. Randall L. Smith
Rev. Randall L. Smith is the Pastor of West Pelzer Baptist Church and has been for 22 years, since November 3, 2002.
Rev. Smith, also known as Pastor Randy, is 63 years old, and married to Donna, his wife for 34 years. They have three children, and a daughter-in-law: Jonathan, age 30, and his wife Faith; Jennifer, age 26; and Matthew, age 23. And granddaughters, Jessica Grace Smith, age 6, born on October 24, 2019; and Ava Marie Smith, age 2, born April 17, 2024. Pastor Randy and Donna are originally from Easley.
Rev. Smith came to our church after serving nearly eight years as Pastor of New Liberty Baptist church in Travelers Rest. He served 4 ½ years as Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Pickens, as well as Minister of Youth in two other churches. Rev. Smith is a graduate of Slidell Baptist Seminary of Louisiana, and Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, Illinois. He also attended the North Georgia Center Extension of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Marietta, Georgia.
