397 pounds of non-perishable food and paper goods, from our church, was delivered and donated this morning for the ministry of Operation Care. Thanks to all who contributed to this mission. PRAISE THE LORD!

Members of our church family were challenged with a mission to feed families in need for Christmas.  Some brought food, and some made monetary donations, and we were therefore able to fill twelve boxes full of food, each also with a canned ham, to give to those who are hungry and in need of assistance. Jesus said, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me” (Matthew 25:40b).

Praise the Lord! We collected cans of soup this past Sunday, on the day the Super Bowl was played. We had a super day in our super church, fellowshipping as a super church family, worshiping our super Lord and Savior; and with Christ on our team, all of us were winners. The only loser was our evil opponent, the devil.

Our church family took up enough food to fill 15 boxes for needy families at Christmas.  These boxes were filled with a variety mix of non-perishable food, along with canned hams, and bags of fruit.  When it comes to helping others, our church has a heart that cares!  To God Be the Glory!

Soup Cans Collected for Operation Care

Praise the Lord!  We collected cans of soup this past Sunday, on the day the Super Bowl was played.  We had a super day in our super church, fellowshipping as a super church family, worshiping our super Lord and Savior; and with Christ on our team, all of us were winners.  The only loser was our evil opponent, the devil.

I challenged the church family to bring cans of soup.  We called the special day emphasis “Souper Bowl Sunday.”  Several cans were brought, and we took up money in the morning service to buy even more cans.  The cans of soup were delivered to Operation Care this morning, Friday, February 7th, to be given out to families who are in need of food during these hard times.  To God Be the Glory!
